About Me

Early in my adulthood, I pursued a career in a business office setting. However, I quickly realized that I wanted a career with a wider range of opportunities. More importantly, I wanted a career that supported the health in my community. These aspirations lead me to nursing.

Simply becoming a registered nurse was never my end goal. Instead, I believe in continued professional development and maximizing potential to benefit society. Soon after earning my license to practice, I completed my bachelor’s degree, as well as multiple specialty certifications surrounding my critical and progressive care career.

After starting my family, I returned to the academic setting. I believe that this MSN program aligns with my desire to maximize my potential. The advanced nursing practice skills and leadership objectives of this program lay a foundation for future leadership roles and my pursuit of further education for the benefit of my community.
